The Deering Estate invites you to step back in time and experience the magic of the season with “Historic Holidays: Caroling through the Season.” The Richmond Cottage, the first floor and basement of the Stone House, and outdoor areas of the Estate will come alive with the nostalgic charm of traditional holiday carols. This year’s theme celebrates the joy of gathering and the timeless melodies that unite us all in festive cheer. Highlights include rooms themed to classic carols such as “Frosty, the Snowman,” “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and “The Twelve Days of Christmas” each bringing to life the lyrics through intricate and immersive holiday displays.

Friday, December 6, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Join us on Friday, December 6th for “Winter on the Bay” presented by Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins and Deering Estate. Kick-off the Holiday Season of Events at Deering Estate and enjoy a fun and festive community event for all ages! Enjoy food, games and activities. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy an outdoor screening of a holiday film!
Silent Nights – NEW!
December 4, 10 & December 18, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
General admission tickets: $18 for adults (ages 15+) and $10 for children (ages 4-14), per event.
Deering Estate Foundation Member tickets: $10 for adults (ages 15+) and $5 for children (ages 4-14), per event. Please note that ticket sales END at 11:59 PM on night before each event.
Experience this year’s Holiday Décor, Historic Holidays: Caroling through the Season in the evening on select dates throughout December. Spend time with loved ones as you leisurely stroll through the decorated Historic House Museums, featuring festive décor inspired by beloved holiday carols.
Holiday Bay Cruise
Sunday, December 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
$65 per person (ages 4 & older). Purchase tickets online.
Take a break from holiday shopping and enjoy a relaxing cruise on Biscayne Bay that departs from Deering Estate on Sunday, December 8th. Enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne (ages 21+) as you cruise on the bay. Limited space available. The vessel complies with Coast Guard Regulations and is ADA accessible. Other on the water adventures are also offered throughout December.
Mistletoe & Martinis
Friday, December 13, 7:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Tickets: Non-Members $200 per person & Deering Estate Foundation Members $175 per person. Tables of 10 also available. Limited tickets available. Purchase tickets online.
On Friday, December 13, 2024, the Deering Estate Foundation will host its seventh annual Mistletoe & Martinis holiday event from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Deering Estate. This sophisticated soirée is the estate’s signature holiday event. This year’s event will come alive with the sights, sounds, and libations of the holiday season with a fanciful nod to “A Christmas Carol.” For one night only, guests are invited to dress as their favorite “Christmas Carol” character or in festive holiday dress, stroll the grounds, and celebrate the season with live entertainment, designer-led holiday décor, and food and drinks, provided by some of Miami’s best restaurants, catering teams, and drink sponsors.
Story-Time and Photos with Santa
Saturday, December 14, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Included with general admission: $18 for adults and $10 for children (ages 4-14). Purchase tickets online. Free General Admission for Deering Estate Foundation members and children under 4 years old. Please present membership card & I.D. at the Main Gate Ticket Booth at the event.
Santa Claus is coming to town and he’s visiting the Deering Estate! Enjoy story-time with Santa’s elves, holiday arts and crafts activities, and photos with Santa (for an additional fee) inside the Great Hall of the Stone House.
Two, three-day sessions: Session I: December 23, 26 & 27 & Session II: December 30, January 2 & 3, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
$135 per session. Register online.
Children, ages 6-14, will explore and learn from nature at Deering Estate’s Winter Camp! Two, three-day sessions are available.
