Who doesn’t love Halloween? Free candy, carved pumpkins, ghosts, goblins, zombies…and if you happen to be at Pinecrest Gardens this month, you will see all of these Halloween favorites and even dogs dressed up in outrageous costumes as well. Howl-O-Ween…our Annual Four-Legged Friend Fest is happening on Sunday, October 27, noon to 5:00 p.m. Pinecrest Gardens will be haunted by four-legged ghouls and their scary human companions as Paws-4-U Rescue celebrates Halloween. Enjoy trick or treating, a costume contest (additional entrance fee required), a Doggie Fun Zone Agility Course, food, drinks, live entertainment, Kids’ Zone, pumpkin patch photos and more. Off-site parking at Christ the King Church, Palmetto Senior High and Pinecrest Elementary, with free shuttle service. $5 Admission, Children under 2 years enter free.
Another Halloween attraction at Pinecrest Gardens will be Jekyll & Hyde presented by the Palmer Trinity High School Theater Department on Thursday, October 24, Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26, at 7:00 p.m. Kick-start your Halloween season with the epic tale of one man’s struggle to control the powers of good and evil. *Special: Anyone dressed in costume will receive $2 off their ticket price at the door. Join us for this dark and ominous musical, by Leslie Bricusse and Frank Wildhorn. Inspired by the classic novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson and featuring a thrilling score of pop rock hits, this musical has mesmerized audiences the world over. Rocky Horror Picture Show is featured on Wednesday, October 30, 8:00 p.m. It’s time for our yearly ritual featuring your favorite cult film, Rocky Horror Picture Show. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. for this fabulous film. At about 8:00 we will invite you into the Banyan Bowl where a very special emcee will be hosting a costume contest followed by the movie beginning at 8:30. You are encouraged to bring your own props. Refreshments will be sold inside the park. The movie is FREE of charge.

Pinecrest Gardens Welcomes Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee, for a Night Under the Stars with Nestor Torres on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 8:00 p.m.
We know you’ve waited very patiently all summer, but the time has finally arrived when the best jazz artists in the world take their place on the Banyan Bowl Stage for the South Motors Jazz Series. Our season opener Latin Grammy Award Winner and Multi-Grammy Nominee, Nestor Torres’ rhythmic and melodious flute is in a class by itself. His 14 recordings as a soloist; 4 Latin Grammy nominations, one Grammy nomination and one Latin Grammy Award; collaborations with diverse artists such as Gloria Estefan, Kenny Loggins, Dave Mathews, Herbie Hancock, Tito Puente, Michael Camilo, Paquito D’ Rivera and Arturo Sandoval; as well as performances with the Cleveland, Singapore, and New World Symphony Orchestras among many others, are testament to the remarkable journey of an Artist who continues to grow and enrich the lives of those who experience his talents.
