Hungry for chili? Then keep on reading

Pinecrest Gardens Chili Cook-Off, presented by Peterson’s Harley-Davidson and sponsored by Panter, Panter & Sampedro Attorneys At Law, invite you to COME HUNGRY to the 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, March 21 from noon to 5:00 p.m. It’s a country hoe-down Pinecrest-style at our Annual Chili Cook-Off. Live music bands, line-dancing, mechanical bull riding, a delicious selection of food, chili sampling and so much more! You can even enter an old-fashioned hands-tied-behind- your-back, eating contest. Don’t miss this lip-smackin’, thigh-slappin’, cookin’-up-a-batch-of-fun event for the whole family.

Though this is an event sanctioned by the International Chili Society and the primary competition is for professional chili cooks, we will host an amateur cook-off as well and a local First Responders Challenge sponsored by Nick Waddell State Farm Insurance Agency.

So, if you happen to be a home-grown chili master with a family recipe, dust off that apron and grab your cast iron pot, it’s not too late to enter! For more information, please contact the Cook-Off organizer, Elis Miralles at 305-669-6990. Tickets: $5 (Children under 2 years, free) Pinecrest Gardens members enter the festival free of charge.⠀⠀
