10th Annual Chili Cook-Off | Saturday, March 8, Noon to 5 P.M.
Get ready to spice things up at the 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off. You don’t want to miss out on tasty chili, live country music, line dancing, a mechanical bull, a classic car display, eating contests, and kids’ entertainment. If you’re a chili lover, you’ll have the chance to sample chili from the best cooks in the International Chili Society (ICS). Visit website to buy tickets.
Call for Chili Masters and Home Cooks: We are delighted to host returning and new cooks.
This is an International Chili Society-sanctioned event. To register visit the ICS website at www.chilicookoff.com. There will be three chili categories: Traditional Red, Verde, and Veggie. Amateur cooks with a competitive spirit are invited to battle for the Best Chili title and a cash prize. ICS rules do not apply. People’s choice will decide the winner. Imagine Count Basie went to Rio de Janeiro and combined his big band with the powerful and joyous energy of samba. Back by popular demand, Gafieira Rio Miami, the 11-piece band founded and led by Latin Grammy-winning bassist Diogo Brown, fuses samba, jazz, funk, and soul inspired by the Rio de Janeiro ballroom dance music samba de gafieira. This concert features special guest percussionist Tony Succar, vocalist Isa Duarte, and world-champion ballroom dancers Eric and Abigail Celestino.
Beethoven in the Bowl | Saturday, March 1, 8 P.M.
Featuring special guest soloist Cellist Thor Sigurdson, who will perform the classic
Haydn Cello Concerto N. 1 in C Major, Hob. VIIb:1. Also on the program is Beethoven’s
Symphony N. 1 in C Major, OP. 21, along with other great selections. The 42 musicians

Workshop: Watercolor Flowers | Thursday, March 6, 6:30 P.M.
Join us for an intro to watercolors workshop where you will learn to paint flowers. Guided step by step with instructors, you’ll learn the basics of watercolor and techniques to guide you in painting flowers. All materials & a complimentary beverage are included in the workshop. This workshop is appropriate for people 21+.
