Since 1962, Howard Palmetto Baseball & Softball Association (HPBSA) has united neighborhoods through sports, providing a safe and positive “community first” environment for players of all skill levels. As Florida’s largest recreational baseball league, we continuously evolve to meet the diverse needs of our community. Our inclusive approach ensures everyone has a place, from seasoned athletes striving for excellence to beginners seeking friendship. Guided by our commitment to “leave no child left off the field,” we offer a range of programs throughout the year.
Fall 2024 Initiatives
HPBSA is excited to announce its Fall 2024 initiatives, building on the record-breaking success of its Spring Baseball, Softball, and T-Ball season with more 800 participants and more than 200 volunteers.
● Our classic Fall “HP Aces” program: Highlighting the best of our best. 135 participants (“ACES”) on 11 teams across eight divisions (7U-14U) will compete in external travel leagues (Franjo & MYBA), developing their skills year-round with the opportunity to earn a spot for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Dreams Park in Cooperstown, NY during the summer of their 12U year.
● Inaugural “HP Fall Softball” league: More than 120 young ladies enrolled and counting, set to practice and play games at Palmetto Bay parks. Registration ends August 17th.
● Inaugural fall “HP T-Ball Stars” league: A next-step program for our 5-year-old T-Ball veterans, featuring weekly practices and games, plus year-end tournaments. This league prepares players for the Atom coach-pitch division, our largest and most popular division in all of Howard Palmetto, next spring. Limited spots available – register now!
● Revamped “HP Fall Sandlot” league: Join our Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch divisions for a fun and competitive experience, designed for kids aged 6-11. Enjoy weekly practices and scrimmages, led by experienced coaches and umpires. Secure your spot today and get ready for the excitement to start in late August!
All offerings include a uniform, team practice equipment, and league-wide clinics and events.
