Pinecrest Gardens welcomes City Theatre to Art in the Gardens for a Sips & Shorts: City Reads edition! Sip drinks and explore the “season” through four fast and funny 10-minute plays read by professional actors with musical accompaniment by world-pop duo Hola Hi. JAZZ AT PINECREST GARDENS: DEE DEE BRIDGEWATER QUARTET
SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 8 to 10 p.m.
NEA Jazz Master, Multi-Grammy, Tony Award-winning jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater puts her unique spin on standards, as well as re-envisions jazz classics. Ever the fearless voyager, explorer, pioneer and keeper of tradition, the three-time Grammy-winner recently won the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album for Eleanora Fagan (1915-1959): To Billie With Love From Dee Dee. CHORALE CONCERT: A POET’S SONG
SUNDAY, APRIL 14, 8 to 5 p.m.
In celebration of National Poetry Month, the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami presents a program of choral music set to the poetry of some of the great writers in history, such as Percy Bysshe Shelley, Sarah Teasdale, and Langston Hughes. This program is in collaboration with the Chamber Singers of MDC Kendall and will feature compositions by Andre Thomas, Elaine Hagenberg, Ysaye Barnwell, Frank Tichelli, Emma Lou Diemer, and more!

MACRAMÉ PLANT HANGER WORKSHOP
THURSDAY, APRIL 18, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Join us for our April Curious Gardener Workshop learn the techniques of macramé and leave this workshop with your very own hanging plant holder. This workshop includes a 4inch plant. You will use a wooden hoop to start, and learn macramé knots to create your plant holder. Enjoy a complimentary beverage with registration. All materials and instructions are included in registration fee. This workshop is perfect for beginners.

Pinecrest City Music Project in conjunction with Pinecrest Gardens, presents the Annual South Dade Schools ArtsFest. Art and music will be presented throughout the garden.
