Born in Colombia, Juan Quintero arrived in Miami as a teenager with little money in his pockets and a strong drive to succeed. He leveraged his passion for entrepreneurship to create a thriving business that has become the top seller of Hästens luxury beds in the nation.
“When I was a young boy in Colombia, I would have never believed I would be selling $750,000 beds and texting with celebrities about getting their best sleep,” Juan said. He is so dedicated to wellness through sleep, that he bought a Hästens bed for his son.
While in college, Juan and his business partner Matt Byrd teamed up to sell mattresses online, an introduction to the industry that would prove pivotal. He opened a dedicated Hästens Sleep Spa in the Miami Design District in 2020. “Despite facing unprecedented adversity, the pandemic only accentuated the need for better rest, better sleep and quality time both at home and at work, placing a newfound importance on wellness overall, including the need for great sleep,” he said.

He has also provided best-in-class sleep experiences to world leaders including Iván Duque Márquez, the former President of Colombia.
