Palmetto Bay, FL – State Representative, Omar Blanco successfully completed his first “On the Job with OB” workday at Alaine’s Osteria, a cherished Italian restaurant in Palmetto Bay. The workday took place on Friday, February 21st from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 7290 SW 168 ST Suite D, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157.

During this workday, Representative Blanco worked alongside the team at Alaine’s Osteria to gain firsthand experience of the challenges small businesses face. From learning about customer service dynamics to understanding operational complexities, Representative Blanco was able to witness the realities of running a successful local business. This initiative was part of his ongoing commitment to supporting small businesses, the backbone of Florida’s economy.

“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated team at Alaine’s Osteria,” said Representative Blanco. “This experience has allowed me to gain deeper insight into the challenges faced by small business owners. Small businesses don’t just contribute to our economy—they are the heart of our communities. I’m committed to ensuring that the policies we create in Tallahassee help these businesses thrive and continue to be a source of pride for our neighborhoods.”
