Dear Friends, I am delighted to announce that on February 1st we are publishing a commemorative issue of the Pinecrest Tribune to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Village of Pinecrest. We have a great line-up of stories planned and advertising interest is already strong. To support Pinecrest we changed the South Dade News into the Pinecrest Tribune . The change paid off, and the Village was born. The Pinecrest Tribune became the voice for a new community, connecting activists, government officials and business leaders. In this issue, we are looking back at our amenities, so we don’t take them for granted. We didn’t always have a library or a City Hall, or sidewalks, or so many shade trees. We also have a feature on special community events that have become family traditions that define the Pinecrest way of life. We are checking in with some our earliest Positive People of Pinecrest to see what they are doing today.
