On Saturday, March 12th, the Village of Pinecrest will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the municipality’s incorporation in 1996. The entire community is invited to celebrate at a parade and picnic. The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. The parade route will be along Southwest 124th Street from 74th Avenue to 82nd Avenue.
The parade will feature entertainment and floats by local schools, businesses, community groups, and scouts. There will even be a few surprises along the parade route.
Following the parade, a community picnic will be held at Evelyn Greer Park. Pinecrest will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks to picnic attendees. There will also be music and activities for children. Parking will be available at Miami Palmetto Senior High School (120th Street side) with free shuttle service to and from the park.
The Village of Pinecrest is grateful to all of the event’s sponsors but especially to the platinum, gold and silver sponsors including Kendall Toyota and Lexus of Kendall, The Corradino Group, Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, GC3 Development, Panter, Panter & Sampedro, P.A., Jackson Health System, Baptist Health South Florida, Eurohabitat, Alexander Montessori School, EWM Realty International, and the Pinecrest Tribune.
