SHE JAZZ PROJECT: PLACEMENT WORKSHOP

Calling all aspiring female jazz musicians ages 12-18 for a unique, immersive mentorship opportunity. The She Jazz Project is a scholarship-based student ensemble of young musicians from across South Florida. Placement workshops assess the applicant’s level of experience for participation in the weekly music mentoring sessions that commence in January of 2024. IKEBANA SOCIETY

Ikebana (meaning “giving life to flowers”) is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, in which the arrangement brings nature and humanity closer together. The Miami Chapter was founded in 1956 to create an association that shares and expands the knowledge and enjoyment of ikebana. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at Pinecrest Gardens. First time guests many attend the program workshop for free. Pre-registration required.
