Water slides, bubble ball soccer, beer and food trucks. How’s that for a Parks and Recreation Month celebration?
Imagine a day at the park. A DJ is playing popular music. Now add three giant bounce houses – two with water slides and one with a slip-and-slide. Before and after you get soaked with fun (and water), you get to pick from a variety of field games that include bubble ball soccer, mega tug-of-war with 20 to 30 people per team, dodge ball, archery tag, potato sack races and more.
And it’s not just children having all the fun, adults can play too!
Best part? It’s free! Pinecrest Community Day will be held on Saturday, July 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Evelyn Greer Park, 8200 SW 124th Street. There will be five food trucks, and beer and wine available for purchase.
