St.Louis ‘Three Wise Men’ gather for Christmas Star Ball

The three pastors who have guided the St. Louis Catholic community for the last 40 years will meet on Friday, Dec. 19, at the Biltmore hotel in Coral Gables at the Christmas Star Ball to reminisce and share stories of their time at the Pinecrest parish.

The evening of food, dancing and fellowship will bring together Fathers David Russell and Paul Vuturo and Monsignor James Fetscher. Each will offer a unique perspective and stories from their time at the church, and about the fundraiser to benefit the church capital campaign project.

The “One Church One Family” capital campaign project is focused on the future of the St. Louis Catholic community, with the goal of renovating several structures, building a multipurpose facility and a recreational sports field, and increasing parking.

St. Louis Catholic Church, 7270 SW 120 St., was founded in 1963. The parish is diverse and vibrant, and dedicated to enhancing the faith of its members. In 1992, the Covenant School was created.
