With more than 30 acres of family-friendly activities to offer the South Florida community, The Berry Farm is now celebrating its annual Sunflower Festival with two weekends of festival fun for the whole family. Its 5 acre sunflower maze will be in full bloom beginning Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March 27th, with a closing weekend of one-of-a-kind good times, on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd.
Admission to the Sunflower Festival affords visitors the chance to enjoy free hayrides, a 24-piece ropes course, a multi-part wooden playground with giant climbing areas (featuring a monster truck, pirate ship, castle, train, ark and more), a 15,000 square foot turf field (with giant outdoor games) with live music and bands scheduled throughout the weekend on its signature stage. The free 25-foot rock wall, state slide, gem mining (by Miami Mining), and pony rides (additional fee applies) will entertain the kids, while photo ops galore will keep Mom and Dad beaming with pride. The vast sunflower and berry fields – each ripe for picking – bring options for every member of the family.
Be sure to come hungry, too! The Berry Farm offers everything from tenders and fries to smoked BBQ and tacos. Pair your meal with an ice-cold beer or your favorite beverage of choice. Finish off your meal with a dessert like no other. Guests will have a hard time choosing between the world-famous milkshakes, strawberry shortcakes, Belgian waffles and more.
The Berry Farm is located at 13720 SW 216th Street, Miami, FL 33170. Barn doors open each day of the weekend at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Entrance ticket prices: Adults (ages 13 and up) $17; children (ages 3-12) $13.
