There’s nothing quite like exploring Pinecrest Gardens at night as it transforms into a winter wonderland dotted by thousands of twinkling lights throughout the botanical landscape. This years’ festival includes story time, Santa appearances, a Holiday Bazaar by Herprenuer featuring locally made gift items, live performances in the historic Banyan Bowl and access to the new Upper Garden playground.
THE PUPPETS MAGIC GARDEN
Saturdays – January 7, March 25, April 8 | 3:00 p.m. | www.pinecrestgardens.org/puppet
Join us for a three-act show featuring different puppet show genres including the presentation of the enchanted horse story extracted from the work of the 1001 nights fairy tale, performed through music and puppet animation. The show’s characters will spur your imagination and lead us to the mysterious world where the characters live. Pick from one of three Saturday matinee shows. Ticket includes admission to the show and entrance to the Garden.
CITY THEATRE – SHORT CUTS

A short is a play with a beginning, middle and end running 10 minutes or less! A program of shorts is fast, furious and theatrical fun! Brought to you by City Theatre Inc., producers of the annual Summer Shorts Festival, this hour-long family-friendly lineup features four, exciting new works by South Florida playwrights. Ideal for ages 10-14. Post-show conversation with the artists about the themes raised in the plays.
SOUTH MOTORS TROPICAL NIGHTS

From Havana’s Tropicana to New York’s Copacabana, the Latin night clubs of the 1950s and beyond were sultry and addictive. Tropical Nights at Pinecrest Gardens is comprised of three concerts featuring the very best of Latin Jazz throughout the years, curated and performed by Grammy award-winner, Chino Nunez. Three-show subscriptions and single tickets available.
