Pinecrest residents, business owners and contractors can scan a personalized Quick Response Code (QRC) on permit cards to view real-time permit information that includes outstanding fees, inspection status, conditions, reviews and contacts.
Pinecrest is the first municipality in Miami-Dade County to offer a QRC to access permit information. The QRC is found at the top left of permit cards that are given to permit applicants.
Applicants can use an iPad, iPhone or Android device to scan the QRC. Most QRC scanner apps are free and work in the same way. They can be downloaded to a device via the device’s app store.

The QRC application is an enhancement to the Building and Planning Department’s state-of-the-art E-TRAKit online system that allows people to pay permit, license or violation fees; search for property information; schedule and track inspections; and report issues, such as, graffiti, tree removal and illegal signs.
