What does archaeology say about Jewish vlaim to Israel?Archaeology is a remarkable tool for uncovering the layers of history buried beneath our feet. For the Jewish people, the ancient city of Jerusalem holds a profound and multifaceted significance, both religiously and culturally.

Through meticulous excavation and study, archaeological findings have consistently supported and illuminated the deep historical connections between the Jewish people and Jerusalem, offering tangible proof of their long-standing presence in the land given to them by none other than G-d Himself.

There will be a two-part series of a ZOOM Archaeological Seminar about major excavations in Jerusalem and the City of David and they will even include audio-visuals of the excavations! The multimedia zoom presentation will take place on Thursday, July 25, and Thursday, Aug. 8, 3-4:15 p.m.

Keep in mind that this is the single most contentious issue in the Middle East conflict between Jews and Arabs.

“This presentation will uncover powerful and convincing case for the Biblical story for the Jewish claim to Israel – even for those who have a hard time believing,” said Rabbi Smith, director of the Levi Yitzchok Retiree Academy.

Rabbi Avrohom Stolik, the presenter, has received wide acclaim as a biblical archaeological scholar. In the presentation, he will share his extensive knowledge of Jewish history and secular Bible study, as well as his passion for biblical archaeology. He has created a unique presentation that includes imagery, diagrams, and videos that can benefit anyone, whether he or she has been to Israel before or has any background in history or archaeology.

The Retiree Academy runs numerous programs and educational programs throughout the year including Talmud, Books of the Prophets, Code of Jewish Law, Chassidic Philosophy and Mysticism, and much more. They just started offering a Conversational Yiddish Seminar as well. Visit JewishRetiree.com or call 954-458-6000 for more information about their programs.

Archaeology confirms the historical accounts found in religious and historical texts and enriches our understanding of the Jewish people’s enduring connection to Jerusalem. Each artifact, structure, and inscription serves as a tangible link to the past, providing irrefutable evidence of the deep-rooted presence and influence of Jewish civilization in Jerusalem. Join this seminar and find out about your heritage and these new exciting findings.

The cost for this two-part archaeology series is only $36 and Retirees can get a scholarship. Sign up at JewishRetiree.com or call 954-458-6000 for more information.
