Make Temple Beth Am your home away from home. It’s one thing to talk about reaching out; it’s another thing to do something about it. If you are among those who have never belonged to a synagogue or those who have been members at one time in their lives but no longer are, we urge you to come and visit our campus. Give us the opportunity to give you a special Beth Am welcome.
By joining us for Shabbat, a Saturday morning Torah study, or any of our wonderful events, you will discover a level of Judaism that speaks to the heart. Temple Beth Am is a congregation for people who feel, think, laugh, care and love; an extended family who will share in your joys and sorrows. We offer young family Shabbats, Sunday Morning salon in our library for seniors, support groups, special lectures, and incredible holiday celebrations.
If you are a new family that moved into our area, a young adult attending one of our neighboring universities, an empty nester looking to meet other empty nesters and socialize, or anything in between, come and join us. You will see who we are and what we’re really about. At Temple Beth Am, getting to know newcomers is always at the top of our agenda. New members are honored at a special Shabbat and dinner during Sukkot, and our clergy hosts special intimate receptions in their homes. We make it almost impossible for you to not feel a part of our community.
In a few months, we will be opening our new building, The Hub, which will feature a stunning auditorium for concerts, innovative guest speakers, and performances. Our new café will offer our members a place to schmooze, grab a coffee and bagel, and enjoy their time here.
We offer many incentives, such as our “Get to Know Us” rate: a full, all-inclusive membership for your first year with us for only $500. We even offer complimentary membership for young adults under the age of 30. As Temple Beth Am’s Director of Membership for more than 22 years, I’m so proud to say that our doors are open to everyone. No one is ever turned way!
