The Village is partnering with Freebee ride service to provide free door-to-door transportation Village-wide. The Freebee electric car service for door-to-door rides Village-wide launched Monday, January 14th. The service is a fun, convenient and sustainable mode of transportation available to anyone in the Village. Friendly drivers in sleek cars will be on the street Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
It is as easy as 1, 2, 3. To request a ride, download the free Freebee app on your smart phone and follow these easy steps:
1 – Select your Destination
2 – Confirm your Pickup, and
3 – Enjoy the Ride!
Children younger than 10 must ride with an adult. Children 4 to 5 must be accompanied by an adult and sit in a booster seat provided by Freebee. Children younger than 4 must use a booster seat provided by guardian.
This initiative fulfills the Village Council’s Environment Sustainability and Organizational Excellence, and Financial Stability Strategic Priorities.
