2021 Great American Rivalry Series® Launches with Classic Florida Rivalry

 Lexington, KY – Aug. 30 – The Great American Rivalry Series® season continues this week in Homestead, FL on Friday, September 3rd. The rivalry will feature two premier teams: the South Dade Buccaneers and Homestead Broncos with kickoff starting at 7:30pm at Homestead High School.

The Great American Rivalry Series® (GARS), now in its 18th year, shines the spotlight on top high school football rivalries across the nation. Since 2004, the Series has covered more than 930 elite high school football rivalry games across 44 states, highlighting exceptional athletes and decades of competition. Later this 2021 season, GARS will celebrate its 1000th rivalry game, marking a milestone for the largest and longest running marketing platform in high school sports. Sponsors for the 2021 season include the United States Marine Corps and BODYARMOR.

The nomination process to be a part of the Great American Rivalry Series® for the 2022 season has already begun.
