Baptist Health Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Location in Cutler Bay

Baptist Health is expanding access to high-quality care with the unveiling of its new facility in Cutler Bay on February 19, 2025. Hosted by Nancy Batista-Rodriguez, CEO of Baptist Outpatient Services, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Baptist Health leadership, renowned medical staff and local community officials.

Designed to provide quality care closer to home, this new location offers a variety of healthcare options to meet the needs of the Cutler Bay community. It’s comprehensive range of services includes Baptist Health Urgent Care, a 3,550-square-foot space for minor illnesses and injuries; Baptist Health Diagnostic Imaging, providing on-site CT scans and digital x-rays; Baptist Health Primary Care, housed in a 3,992-square-foot office for routine and preventative care; and Baptist Health Brain & Spine Care, led by a team of renowned neurologists specializing in brain and neurological disorders.

“Our goal with this new facility is to remove barriers to care and bring top-tier medical services closer to home,” said Batista-Rodriguez. “We want every South Dade resident to feel confident that their healthcare needs can be met right in their own neighborhood.”

The opening of this facility marks a significant milestone for Baptist Health as it continues to enhance access to care and services throughout South Florida. The opening of this location adds to Baptist Health’s existing services in the surrounding area and Baptist Health Virtual Urgent Care on the PineApp. Together, this network of care ensures that the Cutler Bay community has access to a wide range of healthcare options.
