Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The City of Homestead Cybrarium is excited to announce the next session of its Renaissance Accelerated Reader Program that opened on January 10, 2025, and running through March 31, 2025. Championed by Councilwoman Erica Ávila, who was inspired by her experience homeschooling her child and recognizing the need for resources and guidance, this program provides essential toolsto ensure Homestead students stay on track and receive the support they need to succeed. Designed to enhance reading skills, the program offers quizzes that evaluate comprehension, vocabulary, and other critical reading abilities.

The Accelerated Reader Program rates reading materials with a readability score, helping students and caregivers choose books that match their reading levels. The program does not assess the content of materials but ensures they are appropriately challenging.

• To enroll in the program, participants must have a valid Cybrarium Card registered in either the caregiver’s name or the student’s name.
