The City of Homestead invites the community to celebrate freedom and expression with a dynamic Juneteenth Amateur Night on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Miami Dade College Homestead Campus, Building C, 4th Floor. This uplifting event is part of the City’s ongoing Juneteenth celebrations honoring African Americans and showcasing the richness of Black culture and talent.
Juneteenth Amateur Night welcomes performers of all kinds—singers, poets, musicians, comedians, spoken word artists, and beyond—to take the stage and share their talents in celebration of freedom and culture. This vibrant event is more than a competition for cash prizes; it’s an opportunity to honor the spirit of Juneteenth through creativity, community, and expression. Attendees can also enjoy local food tastings, giveaways, and special event swag as part of this unforgettable evening. Whether you’re performing or supporting from the audience, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Whether you’re a performer ready to take the spotlight or a resident eager to cheer on local talent, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss. The event is free and open to the public.
