This is to make you aware of the regularly scheduled quarterly siren test of the Turkey Point Nuclear Plant’s warning sirens. The sirens will be tested on Friday, September 8th, 2023, at approximately 1 pm and will last about 20 minutes from start to finish.
This test is required as part of the emergency management alert and notification program. In the event of a real event, information about the incident and protective action would be communicated via local media outlets.
