For the first time, every single firefighter went above and beyond putting on a great show so much so that they were all selected to be featured on the 2017 calendar. Among the many women attending was Marti Bueso, with A Safe Haven for Newborns. Marti brought some people from Century Village who came prepared with a fist full of singles showered on the models. Kudos to Luis Espinosa and all the amazing volunteers and fire fighters who made the day a success.

Yet another fun filled event the 5th Annual Fashion for Charity Tea at 2 on April 30. The afternoon of tea, fashion, shopping and inspiration, was coordinated by Diane Superville and held at Granada Presbyterian Church.

The event, which benefits the Fashion for Charity scholarship fund and community workshops, offered a program that included such notables as a celebrity lifestyle coach and award winning best selling author, Kathy Andersen, who addressed the crowd on ways to make positive personal changes, and renowned artist Carlos Marrero who gave instructions on ways to use his unique scarves with the beautiful Miss Art Deco Tyeshaa Hudson assisting as a model. Each table sponsor was charged with providing a table centerpiece to compete for the best and all were awesome. A raffle of some great prizes also
