Miami’s Community News: Bringing People Together with Teamwork and Heart

At Miami’s Community News, everything we do is rooted in one simple idea: bringing people together. Whether it’s through the stories we share, the events we host, or the conversations we spark, our goal is to help neighbors connect, businesses grow, and communities thrive.

What started back in 1958 as a small neighborhood paper has blossomed into something much bigger — and more meaningful. Founded by Ron Miller, Miami’s Community News is now led by his sons, Michael Miller and Grant Miller, who proudly carry on their father’s tradition of local journalism with heart.

Each of our newspapers tells the unique story of the communities we serve — from AventuraCutler Bay, and Palmetto Bay, to PinecrestSouth MiamiCoral Gables, and South Broward. We love shining a light on the people, businesses, and organizations that make these areas so special.

And we’ve grown far beyond just print. Today, our digital products — like our website, e-newsletters, and social media — help us stay connected to readers across every platform. Wherever you are, we’re there too.

We’re also big on conversation. Our popular podcast network brings voices from all walks of life into homes, offices, and earbuds across town. Plus, our Meet & Greet events — whether at local spots like Casa Cuba or right in our office — are a great way to mingle, share ideas, and make new friends.

But behind it all is something we’re really proud of: our team. From the folks writing the stories to the people designing the pages, managing the podcasts, and making the magic happen behind the scenes — this is a family. And we work together to bring out the best in each other, and in our community.

We’re also home to CNEWS.TV, where more than 35 original shows are recorded weekly, featuring everything from business leaders and elected officials to artists, advocates, and everyday heroes.

Whether you pick up a newspaper, visit us online, tune into a show, or stop by an event, you’ll find one thing in common: we care about this community — and about you.

This is what Miami’s Community News is all about. Together, we’re telling stories, building connections, and making South Florida feel a little more like home.
