ArtCare Conservation Lecture Series scheduled at Deering Estate, May 16

The Deering Estate, with partner ArtCare Miami, presents the lecture “Case Studies, Painting Conservation Treatments” with Veronica Romero-Gianoli on Tuesday, May 16, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Veronica Romero-Gianoli will discuss a variety of treatments undertaken at ArtCare including the 2014 conservation treatment of Portrait of Maria Tubau. in the Role of Pepita de Tudo, by Ramos Casas, in the Deering Estate Collection.

The lecture is open free to the public with a suggested donation to Deering’s Coins for Conservation Program. The lecture will take place in the historic Stone House Ballroom.

Cultural arts programming is made possible with support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners, and The Deering Estate Foundation, Inc.

The ArtCare Conservation Lecture Series is presented by ArtCare, A Rustin Levenson Company that specializes in fine art conservation.

ArtCare director and select professionals from the team will present specialized topics for art lovers, collectors, and arts professionals alike.
