Supporters of the Save the Alhambra Water Tower project gathered recently to unveil a plaque acknowledging the efforts of a group of citizens who raised $70,000 for the rehabilitation of the historic landmark. Members of the Alhambra Water Tower Committee spearheaded a grassroots initiative in 2010 to raise funds toward the preservation of the colorful water tower located in 2000 Alhambra Circle in Coral Gables.
