Honored by the First National Bank of South Miami as the outstanding officer in September was Rene Aldonza, Personal Banking Manager and Vice President, along with Patrick Khoury, BSA Analyst, as staff member of the month.
The awards were established to recognize and acknowledge exceptional contributions by the bank’s personnel. Both employees received six personalized 30-minute fitness sessions, courtesy of Scott Baumann of Fitness Together.
Aldonza, responsible for the daily operations of the Safe Deposit, Personal Banking and Teller areas, also develops and promotes superior customer service in all areas.
“Rene is our Mr. South Miami for Personal Banking. I had the privilege of hiring him as an officer 11 years ago, and am happy to call him my friend and colleague,” added Veronica Flores, Executive Vice President who selects the monthly award winners.
As the “Staffer of the Month”, Khoury was recognized for an outstanding job performance in performing customer risk analysis to ensure compliance with the BSA and the Patriot Act.
“Patrick is one of outstanding young super stars,” said Flores. “He started with us as a teller and has been promoted consistently. His great work and attention to detail earned him his position of great importance.”
Baumann expressed the importance of daily activity, saying “We want to help people understand that just 30 minutes of physical activity a day can have a profound impact on that person’s health, appearance, work productivity and quality of life.”
