Good Hope Equestrian Training Center, Inc. is pleased to announce that on Saturday, April 27th, 2013, in celebration of our 14th Anniversary, we are hosting “Hoof Beats”, our annual charity and fundraising concert at the Performing Arts Exchange (PAX) located just west of Brickell Avenue on S.W. 8th Street. The music filled evening will commemorate our years of providing the community with rehabilitative equine assisted programs benefiting children, youth and adults while at the same time raising the much needed funds that will enable us to continue provided rehabilitative care in the future. The event will feature live music by The Bushmen and Suenalo two of the hottest bands in South Florida, contests, a silent auction, fabulous finger foods and cocktails.
As Miami-Dade County’s only equine program accredited by PATH, the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, which has designated the Good Hope Equestrian Center as a “Premier” rehabilitative facility, Good Hope provides high quality rehabilitative services that meet the health, recreational and employability needs of the disabled community. We have achieved national recognition as evidenced by a feature story aired on NBC Nightly News in its Making A Difference Report which featured the restorative power of our program and the impact that the unconditional love and nonjudgmental nature of our horses has on the rehabilitation process.
