If sweet treats are the way to anyone’s heart, then the Shops at Sunset Place’s “How Sweet It Is” on Thursday, Nov. 18, 6:30-9 p.m., is sure to please.

The Shops at Sunset Place, one of South Miami’s leading retail and entertainment destinations, will welcome the area’s finest chefs and caterers to take part in a delicious tasting celebration that will benefit local charities: Academy of Information Technology; A Safe Haven for Newborns; Simon Youth Foundation; Transition Inc., and Vent Love Inc.

The Shops at Sunset Place’s “How Sweet It Is” attendees will enjoy a delicious display of all-you-can-eat desserts and sweet treats, as well as live entertainment by the Living Dolls Dance Factory and many more. The evening also will include a kid zone with family-friendly activities such as cookie decorating, a trail-mix creation station, face painting and more.

“The Shops at Sunset Place is excited to introduce this community event that will make a significant contribution to local organizations, while providing a delicious night out for local families,” said Claudia Marquez, director of marketing and business development at the Shops at Sunset Place. “‘How Sweet It Is’ is perfect for those who want to indulge their sweet tooth, all while supporting a good cause.”

Participating South Florida restaurants, vendors and caterers for the Shops at Sunset Place’s “How Sweet It Is” include: Ana Paz Cakes, Death by Chocolate, Divine Delicacies, Godiva, LA Sweets, Marhaba, Old Lisbon Restaurant, Outback Steakhouse, Segafredo South Miami, Sugar Heaven, Sweet Delights of Miami, The Melting Pot and many more.
