The trendy and enticing Segafredo Café has proudly made its appearance on the South Miami scene with coffee bar-goers throughout the city invited to sample the unique sights, sounds and tastes of the only global café in town with Italian credibility.
Offering a multi-sensorial experience reflecting the lifestyle of the quintessential Italian café, Segafredo Café on September 2 along with Creativas Group PR, event organizers, opened its doors to over 700 guests with a ribbon cutting celebration.
Leading a parade of guests were Mayor Phillip Stoddard; Amy Donner, President of Red Sunset Merchants Association; Mary Scott Russell, Chamber South President; Veronica Flores, Executive Vice President of First National Bank of South Miami, and a host of South Miami area VIPs.
Special guests included: Carlos A. Navarro, Karent Sierra, Maisi Baserva, Karent Sierra, WFOR personality Marybel Rodriguez, and Tito Puente Jr.
Against an array of Italian sports cars, the grand opening maximized an Italian theme as the perfect backdrop for the evening. for the Cafe’s relaxed sophistication, bound to make it a great “go-to” haven and meeting spot for the South Florida professionals.
Owners Willy and Minerva Quintana felt that Segafredo would be the exclamation point in an increasingly trendy area.
“We are so excited to finally be open and very grateful for the response we have gotten from the South Florida community and patrons,” they said “We are now open to serve daily and nightly and look forward to becoming a local favorite for locals.
“We thank everyone for their support,” Event-goers sampled bites from the Segafredo kitchen while sipping on delicious cocktails.. Setting the mood for this grand opening was the Miami fusion band, Suenalo, known for providing a “soundtrack of the melting-pot culture that is Miami.”
With such a great turn out for its grand opening, Segafredo Café is sure to enhance the South Miami scene.
