Everyone was “Irish for a day” at Paper Boutique South Miami, as the store held its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration on Mar. 17.
The long-time South Miami invitation and gift shop, located at 7346 SW 57 Ave., invited everyone for a fun-filled afternoon of cupcakes, cookies, Irish soda bread, green tea, games and prizes. Irish music played, kids practiced their Jig dancing and everyone came dressed in head-to-toe green, sporting shamrock themed hats and accessories.
Carrollton Girl Scouts sold cookies and a special reading of the story of the life of St. Patrick completed an afternoon of family-friendly fun, best described by Mia Zakka, 3, when she said, “This is the most fun day… ever!”
