Q: I don’t like getting old. Every time I look in the mirror I want to cry. What can I do without impairing my good health?
A: I’m frequently asked this same question by patients distressed about aging and its effect on how they look. Fortunately, both plastic surgery and non-surgical choices are available to improve a person’s appearance, even though we all should be happy we live longer, only needing such surgical treatments to look as good as we feel!
According to many statistics, new generations live longer, feel better, and enjoy more fulfilling lives, in and out of the bedroom. All around, we’re having a much better life then our predecessor generations thought possible.
I was recently reminded about our increased vitality at a Fleetwood Mac concert when I saw who I believed was a young girl dancing in front of me while I wondered if she was going to sit down.
Suddenly, a light reflected on her, making me realize the “young girl” was somewhat grandmotherly in appearance but enjoying the music just as she probably had in her more youthful years. And even while her moves might have been slower, the spirit was still there.
So, bear in mind to keep your spirits high, knowing that there are safe and healthy solutions to improve how we look by following the advice and proper precautions of qualified medical professionals.
