VolksBlast has been going on for an estimated 15 years strong, dating back all the way to 1998! The event was brought about to help raise funds for local charities, which started off with a handful of members donating time to help build houses for Habitat for Humanity. The idea that a VW show could help raise more funds sparked the interest of club members. Last years VolksBlast brought together over 200 participants and an estimated 10,000 spectators, and a bigger and better turnout is expected for this year.
