The Red Sunset Merchants Association continues to grow for many reasons. For example, people correctly intuit that the current economic environment requires ‘getting back to basics.’

Marisols Boutique: Rossini, your great taste and cheerful disposition are definitely welcome back in SoMi. We’re so glad you re-opened your business and your new Red Road store (next to Mariners Seafood Market) is really a knockout!
Luggage At Sunset Place: Thank you, Sam, for bringing great national brand luggage to SoMi. It’s especially nice to add another locally-owned shop to the Sunset Place mix.
Gardner’s Market: Store Manager Lance Frazier is already a fixture in town, hosting wine tastings, getting to know customers, and offering to help wherever possible. Welcome to SoMi and the RSMA. Customers new and old say that Lance is what’s making this established landmark sizzle today!
Boom Shanti: Minal goes to India (so we don’t have to). It’s hard to believe her Sunset Drive store has already celebrated its one-year anniversary. Minal’s collection is distinctively global while blending perfectly with SoMi style. While many promise success but fail to deliver, Minal knows the magic mix because her Biscayne Boulevard store has been a hit for a number of years.

Looking ahead: Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8 with The Red Sunset Merchants inviting you to do your Mother’s Day shopping in SoMi. On Saturday, May 7, many of your favorite shops will serve tea and others may uncork a bit of the bubbly! So bring Mom, sister, daughter, and friends, too, to enjoy Mother’s Day shopping — SoMi style.
