Coach Shula Hosts May 17 ‘Cakebread Wine Dinner’

By Raquel Garcia….
Don Shula is famous for saying “the one thing that I know is that you win with good people.”

Apparently that’s why the folks behind Shula’s 347 Grill just east of The Shops of Sunset are winning new friends, too, as the seven-monthold dining establishment enjoys good reviews from firsttimers and regulars alike.

Kicking off at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17 is a “Cakebread Wine Dinner” hosted by Coach Shula, a local living legend. The event begins with a champagne reception with the Coach, open to all from 6-7:30 p.m. A three-course dinner follows at 8 p.m. ($49.99) with Cakebread wines at halfprice. Seating is limited.

“It’s a very nice atmosphere, the owners and management are friendly and consistently willing to please,” said Marty Abern, Shula’s ‘regular.’

“It’s a good place to take a friend, or client, the food is excellent and the big screen TV’s are viewable almost anywhere in the restaurant,” he added.

“This is an all inclusive venue, not just about football but basketball, hockey, baseball; all local sports are celebrated at 347,” said Francesco Balli, Managing Partner.
