Juan Carlos Quintero DMD named to Baptist Foundation Board of Directors

South Miami orthodontist Juan-Carlos Quintero, DMD, has been named to the Board of Directors of Baptist Hospital Foundation. He will also serve as a member of the Baptist Health Foundation Board, the fundraising arm for Baptist Health. All Baptist Health Board members are volunteers who serve without compensation.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Quintero is a faculty member at The L.D. Pankey Institute, an attending professor at Miami Children’s Hospital Department of Pediatric Dentistry and an advisor for Fortis College.

Dr. Quintero is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and received his master’s degree in oral biology from the University of California in San Francisco. He has served as national president of the American Association for Dental Research—Student Research Group, and is immediate past president of the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists.

Dr. Quintero lives in South Miami with his wife, Tessie, and their three children.
