Former director of the club’s Membership Committee, Dean was manager for State Rep. Michael Bileca’s campaign in District 117 and a former GOP Executive Committee vice chair for finance.

Serving with her during the coming year are: Carla Ascenscio-Savola, vice president, District 34 Committeewoman who served seven years on the Kendall Community Council; Lorraine Dunlap, treasurer, a GOP Executive Committeewoman for District 19; Kimberly Cruiser, recording secretary, member of the board of trustees of the Florida House, and Maria Wadsworth, corresponding secretary, District 29 Executive Committeewoman honored as 2010 GOP “Volunteer of the Year.”

Among its key programs during 2011, the Old Cutler Club will award a scholarship to a deserving teenager that will include an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC to spend a day with U.S. Rep. David Rivera.

To celebrate the club’s 31st year, an anniversary celebration will take place in April, followed by a Fourth of July barbecue and a Woman’s Suffrage Award event in August. The club will meet next on Mar. 15 to hear Miami-Dade District 7 Commissioner Carlos Gimenez, a possible mayoral candidate.
