Commissioner Sally A. Heyman met with the area businesses owners that submitted applications and were awarded grants to assist their business. This annual grant program event drew over 100 businesses from District 4. A selection committee awarded over $90,000 to 59 businesses in District 4, which covers Northeast Miami-Dade.
“Small businesses are vital to our local economy,” said Commissioner Heyman. “The Mom and Pop program ensures that these businesses are able to thrive, even in a difficult economy.”
