The search for the most talented and exceptional performers is on. The City of Sunny Isles Beach is looking for all children, teens, and adults in Sunny Isles Beach with a traditional or unique talent. Whether it is singing, dancing, an instrumental skill, or your own unique talent, we want to see you showcase it on the big stage.
The City of Sunny Isles Beach’s annual Talent Show was a huge success its first year in 2012 and its success and participation has only grown over the past two years. After the City’s 2nd Annual Talent Show last year the only thing on everyone’s mind is what 2014 will bring. Last year, the City received more than 50 applications in a wide variety of performances, genres, and age ranges and as we look forward to this year we only expect these numbers to grow.
Registration for the City of Sunny Isles Beach 3rd annual Talent Show is now open. Pre-registration is required and entry forms must be submitted with a completed waiver no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, September 5th. Due to anticipated demand, applications received after this date will not be accepted. Applications can be picked up at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center (18070 Collins Avenue), at Pelican Community Park (18115 North Bay Road) or online at www.sibfl.net. Completed entries can be submitted via email to kfernandez@sibfl.net, in person at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center or at Pelican Community Park, or via mail to ATTN: Kathy Fernandez, Cultural & Community Services, Pelican Community Park 18115 North Bay Road, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. Be sure to register early as space is limited in each age category of child, youth, teen and adult.
After successfully registering, all performers must attend a mandatory audition on Wednesday, September 10th at Pelican Community Park in order to be considered for participation. If selected, performers will be notified of their schedule and will get to hit the big stage on Saturday, September 20th. The selected performers will perform in front of a live audience and compete for their chance to win prizes and the coveted title.
