Parks and Recreation Master PlanUpdate (October 3, 2023): Following the collection of input from our residents through surveys and in-person public engagement events, we are pleased to announce significant progress in our Parks and Recreation Master Plan.

Our consultant presented the results during the April 2023 Commission Meeting.

Subsequently, the feedback provided by residents was consolidated into the comprehensive master plan and was presented during the Commission Workshop in September 2023.

To offer a deeper understanding of these developments, we invite our residents to join us at the Parks and Recreation Master Jam on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 3 – 7:30 p.m. at Pelican Community Park. This event offers a unique opportunity to delve in the city’s future plans for parks, recreation facilities, and amenities. We encourage you to share your thoughts, with a chance to win exciting prizes for your participation.

While parents learn about the Master Plan, kids can look forward to enjoying a variety of engaging games, inflatables, and fun on the Pelican Community Park baseball field.

Join us as we shape the future of our community’s recreational spaces together!
