There was a common theme amongst this year’s college scholarship recipients. It was “Gratitude.” On Sunday, April 19, 2015, thirteen (13) high school seniors attended a lovely brunch at the Trump International Resort to accept various scholarships which they had been selected for. Ten of the recipients were from Sunny Isles Beach and three were from the Town of Golden Beach, sponsored by their city. Each of the recipients spoke to the audience about their personal history and connection to their city or town. They spoke of theircollege choice, their desired studies and how important the scholarship program is to them to help offset costs.

Each of the recipients was very grateful for the assistance, and to the sponsors. They were deserving based on how much they had given back to either city volunteer programs or other volunteer efforts.
