South Florida PBS is thrilled to announce that it has been recognized as a finalist in the 56th Public Media Awards, earning an Honoree distinction in the Marketing/Communications category for Special Events. The nomination is for the impactful 2nd Annual Women’s Health Fair, held on March 23, 2024, at The Boynton Beach Arts & Cultural Center.
The 2nd Annual Health Channel Women’s Health Fair was a unique and engaging event that brought together approximately 400 women from Palm Beach Country for a day dedicated to health, wellness, and empowerment. Attendees participated in various workshops covering critical health topics such as heart health, Brain Health, Sexual Health, Nutrition, and more. The event featured interactive booths where women could connect directly with health and medical experts, gaining valuable resources and information.
The Public Media Awards honor the finest work in community engagement, content, education, marketing/communications, independent productions, and overall excellence within the public media system. Judged by a panel of experts both within and outside public media, these celebrate the best in the industry.
