On a nice and breezy Saturday night, October 9, 2010, Pelican Community Center was converted into a beautifully decorated wedding hall for a big rental event for a resident of Sunny Isles Beach. Resident of Winston Tower 600, Ena Blake married Raymond Scopes of Essex, England. More than 100 guests came to Pelican Community Park to take part in this celebration, including friends and extended families from overseas. Both bride and groom looked very excited and happy during the ceremony performed by their pastor and later when the reception started. Music, flowers, toasts, dinner, taking memorable pictures and of course cutting a white layer cake – everybody enjoyed the wedding festivities.
