The Medical Staff at North Shore Medical Center and Florida Medical Center donate $10,000.00 to the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
The goal of this donation is to support an outreach effort on the island to go to rural communities that do not have access to healthcare and would otherwise need to travel to seek treatment. The hospital staff is going to rural communities to help the people affected by Hurricane Maria.
“This contribution will help save many lives in Puerto Rico and help provide healthcare to those in need,” said Dr. Fernando Bayron, Governing Board member at North Shore Medical Center and Florida Medical Center.
