Trump International Beach Resort Miami rolls out new offerings for a sizzling summer vacation

From free cultural events to new dining options, spa treatments and activities for all ages, the family-friendly Sunny Isles Beach resort is raising the bar this summer

Sunny Isles, Fla. – (May 20, 2019) – According to the latest U.S. Travel Association report, two-thirds of all family travelers (68 percent) will embark on a summer getaway this year. Whether taking some time off to recharge or enjoy quality time with the family, the iconic Trump International Beach Resort Miami is unveiling a series of new offerings for an unforgettable summer vacation.

Enhanced Planet Kids Program

The resort’s youngest guests, ages 4 to 12, are exclusively invited to experience Planet Kids Club, now featuring an extended, fully interactive program that brings the wonder of South Florida’s natural and cultural environment to the resort. A series of daily indoor and outdoor activities by the lawn, pool and beach will keep little ones entertained throughout their stay. Activities include everything from eco adventures to cooking demos with the resort’s chefs to hands-on crafts. Kids can meet the clubhouse “pets” in the touch tank and learn all about the wonders of the ocean.

The full-day program is from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Half-day sessions are from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Full-day pricing is $25 for the first child, $20 for the second child on the same room reservation and $15 for the third or more children on the same room reservation. Half-day pricing is $15 for the first child, $10 for the second child on the same room reservation and $5 for the third or more children on the same room reservation. New Dining Options

Open to the public as well as resort guests, signature restaurant Neomi’s Grill will be debuting a new menu this summer. Guests can start with a selection of appetizers including lightly breaded fried shrimp, served with a remoulade sauce and lemon wedges, or enjoy a selection of soups and fresh salads like the strawberry wedge salad, served with pancetta, roasted pecans, queso blanco and piña colada dressing. Main courses include everything from herb-roasted half chicken served with roasted sweet potato, sweet red onion and mustard pan gravy to short rib sliders with truffle mayo, arugula and caramelized onions. Guests may choose to dine indoors or al fresco in the restaurant’s newly reimagined terrace.

In addition to the new menu, Neomi’s has launched a Happy Hour menu featuring $6 bar bites, including tuna tacos and petite wedge salad as well as $6.50 craft cocktail specials such as a Cucumber Caipiroska, a Cuba Vieja and a Grilled Pineapple Jalapeno, all made with top-shelf liquors and fresh ingredients.

Neomi’s is open for breakfast from 7:00 to 11:30 am, Monday through Friday (until 12 noon on weekends), for happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and dinner from 5:00 to 11:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Expanded Spa Menu

Those looking to fully unwind can head over to the Aquanox Spa, which welcomes both resort guests as well as the public. The spa recently unveiled a variety of new massages, facials and body treatments designed to revitalize the mind and body. The new Couple’s Deep Tissue Massage provides a therapeutic massage using a choice of aromatic oils; sustained pressure is applied to the body using slow, deep strokes to target inner layers of the muscles to relieve tension and stress. Guests may also opt for the Heavenly Leg and Foot Massage, which focuses on delivering a relaxing massage designed to increase circulation, while nourishing tired, achy legs and feet. Moisturizing shea butter is then applied to leave the skin soft and refreshed. The spa’s new Body Luxe Hydrating Wrap is ideal for those looking to restore and hydrate their skin. The therapist uses shea butter rich in Vitamin E to help nourish and tone the skin, resulting in an overall healthy glow. A soothing foot massage completes the treatment. Spa patrons have access to showers, steam room and Finnish sauna, as well as relaxation areas, before and after their treatments.

Spa guests receive complimentary valet and access to the resort’s pools, beach club and beach service for the day of their service.

New cultural programming: “ARTsea Evenings”

Trump International Beach Resort has partnered with ArtServe, a local organization that works to empower artists and cultural entities to achieve their visions, to launch a series of monthly cultural events. Held on the second Thursday of each month this summer, from 7 to 9 p.m., the free“ARTsea Evenings” interactive events, which are open to the public and guests, offer the opportunity to mingle while taking in art and enjoying light bites and cocktails. Upcoming summer event highlights include:

June 13 – Micro Theatre
A selection of short plays will be presented by local theaters such as Thinking Cap Theatre, Island City Stage, New City Players, and Micro Theatre Miami. An interactive Q+A will follow, with a raffle including tickets to see full-length theatrical performances.

July 11 – Bollywood Indian Night
ArtServe’s high-energy, Indian dancers will put on an interactive performance, while attendees enjoy an Indian-style menu, live art and a pop-up exhibition, all set to the background of a projected Bollywood movie. Adventurous attendees will even have the opportunity to learn some belly-dance moves from the pros.

August 8 – New Orleans Jazz Night
An engaging night of cool and contemporary jazz performances paired with a New Orleans menu and regional drinks. Orleans-inspired artists and a live painter will be on-hand.
