Irving Feder holds a copy of the Sunny Isles Beach Sun Community Newspaper at MAUN International Airport, the Gateway to the Delta. Maun is the fifth largest town in Botswana spreading along the Thamalakane River with a population of more than 50,000. It is an eclectic mix of modern buildings and native huts. Local tribesmen continue to bring their cattle to Maun to sell among the shopping centers, hotels and lodges. This “tourism capital” of Botswana houses the administrative center of the Ngamiland District. It is also the headquarters of numerous safari and air-charter operations which run trips into the Okavango Delta.
