Enjoy food, florious food at ‘Taste of Sunny Isles Beach’

From delectable and decadent – to delicious and nutritious, the glorious array of international foods showcased at the 2015 “Taste of Sunny Isles Beach” will surely put the “yummy in Sunny!”

On Sunday Oct. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Heritage Park will be the scenic venue for one of the greatest events on the city’s family fun menu!

The community is invited to join in celebrating the diversity of Sunny Isles Beach, highlighted by tantalizing displays presented by local restaurants selling specialty dishes from around the world.

Homemade, gourmet, spicy and sweet…beyond fabulous food – enjoy an entertainment treat. Throughout the festive evening, live

performances will include winners of this year’s Sunny Isles Beach talent show.

Luscious, mouthwatering, bon appetite…FREE admission is an ingredient that can’t be beat! Free event parking will be available in the Heritage Park parking garage as well as under the William Lehman Causeway. The Sunny Isles Beach shuttle bus will also be offering free transportation to city residents.

Deserving five-stars, earning rave reviews…Sunny Isles Beach just keeps generating more and more good news. Mayor George “Bud Scholl” recently reported:

“We started out in 1997 at a $1.2 billion aggregate value tax base; by 2002, we jumped to $2.2 billion; and by 2007, we were at $6.3 billion – that’s a 500% increase over the first ten years. We now have 11 public parks, complemented by 22 public beach access paths along our 2.5 miles of public beach frontage, a community school and renovated pier. For the past four years in a row, and for a number of years before that, we’ve lowered our tax millage rate. Sunny Isles Beach now has the eighth lowest rate in the county out of 32 municipalities.”

All in good taste, promise it won’t go to your waist! Relax and enjoy the “Taste of Sunny Isles Beach” Sunday Oct. 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Heritage Park (19200 Collins Avenue) sponsored by Esthetcare Spa Rejuvenation, Touch of Health Rehabilitation Inc., East of Collins and Weichert Realtors.
