In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern’s newest venue located at CityPlace Doral, plans to donate all profits on Sept. 18 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
Rusty Bucket, in partnership with sister company Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, is hosting the one-day nationwide fundraiser to support people affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma – with the goal of donating together more than $150,000.
The funds raised will help provide food, shelter, and other emergency supplies to victims of both hurricanes. Rusty Bucket operates 24 locations across the U.S.
“The devastation Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have caused is horrific,” said Gary Callicoat, president of Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. “It was important to our associates to come together and find a way to help. This donation to the American Red Cross will allow us to provide support to Texas, Florida and other affected areas as they recover from these events and work to rebuild their communities.”
In addition to donating profits from sales, each restaurant will also encourage guests to make donations. On Sept. 18, for every $50 donation made to the American Red Cross at Rusty Bucket locations, the company will provide guests with a $10 promotional gift card valid toward any food purchases on their next visit.
